Hello! We're a welcoming Alcoholics Anonymous group meeting weekly at Plas Dolerw in Newtown, Powys. Our meetings provide a safe, confidential space for anyone seeking support on their journey of recovery.
Our meetings are study-based, focusing on specific AA materials to guide our discussions and reflections. Whether you are a long-time member or attending your very first meeting, you'll be welcome here.
There's no need to call ahead or feel any pressure to speak. Simply come along and join us at your convenience.
Ready to join us? Find more details about our meeting format, time, and location below. We look forward to seeing you!
There are no fees for attending AA meetings and you're never obligated to speak if you don't feel comfortable.
We understand that attending your first meeting can be daunting. But relax, everyone there is on their own recovery journey and understands what you're going through. Just show up and be yourself.
Want to talk beforehand? If you'd like to chat with someone locally before attending, feel free to call our helpline at 0800 9177 650 and ask to speak with someone in the Shropshire Intergroup. We're happy to answer any questions and offer support.
